This flash seminar will give a brief overview of how to find media content appropriate to use in presentations, how to properly attribute work when using others' materials, and how to license creative work using a Creative Commons License so that others can use it in the spirit of Open Access. A question and answer period will follow, opening the floor for discussion about the many issues surrounding copyright and student work.

Dr. Tuchman is Founding Director of the IES and Professor of Biology at Loyola University Chicago. Her vision for IES is to raise public awareness of the unsustainable consumption of our Earth’s natural resources with the goal of transforming behavior, developing policy, and inspiring and preparing next generation science-based environmental leaders.
