Traditional Reserves Request

 

How To Submit Traditional Reserve Request

Fill out a Reserve Materials List form, available at any circulation desk or use the Online Form for Course Reserves. Traditional reserve items should be submitted to the Reserves associate at the library where the items will be made available. Click here for a list of Reserves associates at each library.

 

Faculty and Course Information Needed

To ensure prompt processing of reserve requests a completed Reserve Materials List form and Reserve items should be brought to the Circulation/Reserve Desk. The following information is needed to complete the reserve form:

        • Instructor
        • Course Title
        • Course Number
        • Semester/Year
        • Call Number (LC or Dewey)
        • Type of Material (Book or Photocopy)
        • Loan period (Room Use, 2 Hour, 3 Day, 7 Day)
        • Date of Removal
        • Deadline for Submitting Reserve Lists

Deadline for Submitting Reserve Lists

Submit reserve lists and materials to be placed on reserve 6 weeks prior to the beginning of each semester. If new books or additional copies of books need to be ordered, submit those requests 8 weeks before the start of the semester.

 

Loan Periods

Room, two hour, three day or seven day loan periods are available.
