Library Storage Facility
Access Instructions
Please note: only faculty members and graduate students
of Loyola University Chicago can access the LSF.
To gain access to the Library Storage Facility (LSF) you
must first obtain the key from the Cudahy Library Circulation
Desk. Present your Loyola ID card to check out the key.
The loan period is eight hours.
The LSF is located on the Lower Level of the Sullivan
Center (directions below.) The building is open from:
Monday – Thursday: 8am to 8pm
Friday: 8am to 6pm
Saturday: 10am to 2pm
Sunday: closed
Once inside the main hallway of Sullivan, use the key
to open the door to the left of the main entrance stairs.
Security personnel in the lobby can assist you in locating
the LSF entrance door.
Light switches and the shelving layout are shown on the
map inside the LSF. The study table near the entrance to
the room is provided for your convenience. Please do not
re-shelve any materials you use. Library staff will re-shelve
any items left on the table.
No materials may be taken from the LSF. A photocopier
has been provided for your convenience.
A campus telephone is located near the staff workstation
in the southwest corner of the room (to the far right as
you walk in.) Please use this phone to notify the Cudahy
Circulation Desk at 8-2632 of any problems with the facility.
Please make sure both doors to the LSF are locked when
you exit. Also, be sure to return the key before the eight
hour checkout period expires.

DIRECTIONS to the LIBRARY STORAGE FACILITY
The Library Storage Facility is located in the Sullivan
Center at the far south end of the Lake Shore Campus. From
the Cudahy Library, follow the lakefront path south until
you reach the Sheridan Road curve. The storage facility
is on the Lower Level of the Sullivan Center.
