The Rome Center Library collection provides materials for undergraduates researching and writing term papers in the selected subject areas taught in Rome. To enrich the faculty and student experience in Europe, materials also include current Italian fiction in translation, works about cultural events in Italy, as well as travel guides and maps. Additional general interest works such as American newspapers and popular magazines help keep the Rome Center community abreast of events back home. Faculty and graduate students who are planning to go to Rome should discuss their library needs for both teaching and research in advance with Yolande Wersching, (312) 915-6623, Head of Lewis Library, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
